What can I do about my flabby triceps? 3 Tips that will change your arms FOREVER!

We all know what it's like when we see a sleeveless picture of ourselves and we are totally mortified by how our arms look! Right??? That bat wing appearance…. If this is you, keep on reading. I gotcha. 


First of all: there is no such thing as spot reduction. You can get liposuction or skin removal in specific areas….. but doing a thousand tricep exercises won't morph those flabby areas into chiseled muscles that you can see. So what can you do? 

TIP 1:

It’s about body composition. If you have over 25% body fat, it is very unlikely that you will see that beautiful muscle that lies underneath the skin and adipose tissue. Believe it or not, the best way to lose tricep fat is to do squats and lunges along with weighted upper body moves. They are called compound moves. When you use multiple joints, you use multiple muscle groups together and lose fat faster! I show in my follow-along ‘classes’ how you can turn your body into a fat burning machine. It doesn’t have to be crazy. It just has to be done right to maximize the results.

TIP 2:

Do freestyle routines! Anything involving your own bodyweight where you have to fully engage the entire upper body: Boxing. Rock Climbing. Surfing. That’s the stuff that will shape up your arms big time… Plus: it’s super fun! 

TIP 3:

Eat clean. Hydrate. Sleep enough. Meditate. Sounds silly but these simple things that seem so obvious, completely change your appearance. Your body retains fat if you are in a constant state of stress and you will crave more sugar. So take a picture of yourself in a sleeveless shirt and put it on your kitchen cabinet. Remind yourself of your goal. You are your best motivation.
