2 Life-Changing BEAUTY Tips!

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m about as low maintenance as it gets. The only makeup I ever wear is mascara...unless it’s for a special occasion of course. A wedding, photoshoot, appearance on ELLEN… ha, i wish!

No seriously, as long as I can get ready in 15 min, I’m in. My idea of the perfect hair do is a ponytail. Quick, easy, no fuss.

So my 2 tips tie into my low maintenance lifestyle, however they really apply to ANYONE! Man or Woman.

TIP 1:

Laser Hair Removal.

Best investment ever made! I would literally have a 5-o’clock shadow on my legs after shaving in the morning. Those legs always felt like sandpaper. I haven’t shaved my legs, bikini nor armpits in 2 years and all areas feel silky smooth, just like a baby butt. Always bikini ready, always ready for romance :)

It’s been a while since I did my treatment series and technology might have advanced since. Here is how things worked when I did it: it took 6 visits 6 weeks apart. I’m sure prices vary greatly depending on where you live. It cost me $140 for all 3 areas each time I went.

Then after the 6th time, I went back 6 months later for a follow up. Then 1 year after that. Now it’s been 2 years since that last visit and I still don’t have a single hair. So awesome right?

TIP 2:

Invisalign.

Hands down best money ever spent on my face! I have, well soon HAD the most crooked bottom teeth EVER! I’m in the middle of treatment and it’s so much easier than I thought.

Here is how it works: on your first dental visit, the doctor takes an impression of your teeth. Then you get your trays a few weeks later.

In my case, I have 22 trays total. Each stays in for 2 weeks. So that’s 44 weeks total from start to finish.

The tray is a hard plastic retainer and with each tray it gets tighter and tighter. The day when you change out trays can be a bit rough for an hour or so because of the pressure in your mouth. But you get used to it quickly.

They have to stay in for 23 hours a day. The only time you take them out is to eat. When the whole treatment is complete and your teeth are in perfect alignment, you will still have to wear the retainer every night for the rest of your life. Sounds like a huge commitment, but it’s actually no big deal.

Highly recommend you look into it if you aren’t happy with your smile. Again, costs will vary greatly but I paid $4500 for the whole deal.

I love having made both those long term investments for my beauty. Couldn’t be happier!!
